An after sales service can be provided for our entire range of tools by our network of partner sharpening stations.

The servicing includes sharpening, repairing damaged teeth, levelling and tensioning of the body, complete retrofitting of the tools.

In our production plants, we carry out the servicing of large diameters, large dimensions, highly technical tools, PCD polycrystalline diamond tools.

At the request of our customers, we organise the delivery and collection of the tools. We cover French territory as a whole thanks to the support of a wide network of sharpener partners.

AFTER SALES SERVICE – WOOD

At RBD SAV, the technical team performs a check of the geometry, the wear and general condition of the tool.

Carbide or PCD reversible knives are replaced as needed.

To ensure that the centring complies with the specifications, the planarity can be adjusted.

A finishing sharpening operation is routinely performed to secure optimum performance and a long product lifetime.

Before any intervention, a free quote is submitted to the customer.

AFTER SALES SERVICE – METAL

Alignment check, condition of the teeth and degree of wear, check of the general condition of the tool: each parameter is taken into account in order to recommend appropriate solutions.

The steps are generally followed:

• Levelling,
• Adjustment of tension,
• Repair of the teeth
• Sharpening of the roughing and finishing
• The heat treatment to the tooth

Before any intervention, a free quote is submitted to the customer.

AFTER SALES SERVICE RBD RECYCLING

Choosing RBD Recycling means choosing a partner able to provide knives and rollers, and maintain them thanks to its network of sharpening stations.

We can service the shredding and recycling knives for cutting guillotines.

After an initial check of the geometry, our technicians perform any necessary precision grinding and sharpening.

Large knives can also be retrofitted if the specification allows.
